My name is Stefan and I am a programmer. I have a burning passion for computers, games and technology in general. You can find out about me, my skills and my work experience so far here !

I have been involved in multiple projects that have gained me valuable experience with different tools commonly used in the gaming industry, like using Game Engines (Unity, Unreal), Developing Artificial Intelligence commonly used in games and programming a basic graphical application with shaders. Using the skills I have gained during University especially the experience I have gained with C++, I’ve developed two applications using C++ and wxWidgets. I’ve also delved into Web development as a personal venture where I have learned the React JS Framework and WordPress development. You can find all the projects I’ve been part of here

Machine Guns and Helicopters

Year developed: 2020

Programming Language: C#
Role: Programmer

Machine Guns and Helicopters is a top-down shooter where you are a helicopter equipped with a machine-gun and you have to shoot space ships that invade Earth. At the end, you have to defeat a boss to finish.

I helped develop basic systems for this game like shooting, health, handling scores and high scores, menus and more.

Zombie Isolation

Role: Lead Programmer

Zombie Isolation is a top-down shooter where waves of zombies assault the player. The player must survive as much as they can using the power-ups that spawn at set intervals during the game.

I’ve managed the programming side of things for this project while also developing myself.

Catacomb Descent

Programming Language: C#
Role: Lead Programmer

Catacomb descent is a side-scrolling platformer with combat mechanics. The player can shoot and explode to eliminate their enemies. Forgiving platforming mechanics with simple combat makes for a fun experience !

Game Engine

Role: Lead Programmer

A basic 2D Game Engine developed using C++ and SDL and imGUI. The engine is in pre-Alpha state and for now it allows dragging and dropping of a assets from the library inside the scene, changing some values of a game object, a scene hierarchy and a debug window.

This was a solo project.

A basic application built with C++ , SDL and GLEW alongside fragment and vertex shaders.

Accounting Software

Libraries: wxWidgets, SQLite
Role: Programmer

The program was custom made based on the client’s needs. It helps in managing the stocks of a restaurant, allowing the user to create, modify and delete recipes that can be added to an .csv file to be easily handed out to the accountant.

This was a solo project where I’ve been introduced to database management.
